White Siding, Black Brick, Fresh Deck - Full Home Exterior Repaint

This one was a full exterior overhaul - siding, soffits, trim, brick chimney, and a large deck. The before and after here is dramatic. The house went from a dated, faded tan-and-beige look to a sharp white and black contrast that completely changes the character of the home.

The siding got a clean white repaint across the entire front and sides. We took the soffits, trim, and window frames dark - that black detailing is what ties everything together and gives it that modern edge. The brick chimney was painted using Loxon HP, which is specifically formulated for masonry. It penetrates into the brick rather than sitting on top of it, which means better adhesion and a finish that holds up through freeze-thaw cycles and weather exposure year after year.

The deck was its own job entirely. It's a large, multi-level deck with a diagonal plank pattern and a great view of the water behind the property. We stained the field boards in a soft gray tone and went dark on all the railings and balusters. That two-tone approach on a deck is something we do a lot - it adds visual depth and makes the whole structure look intentional rather than just slapped with a single color.

Color contrast does a lot of the heavy lifting here. White siding reads as bright and clean. Dark brick and dark trim read as bold and grounded. Put them together and the home stops looking like a background and starts looking like a statement.
