Most painting jobs look fine at first glance. The problems show up later - in the drips along the trim, the patchy spots where walls weren't prepped properly, or the scuffed-up baseboards that got ignored. That's exactly what we're trying to avoid on every job we take on.
This one covered the whole interior - bedrooms, hallways, bathroom, living areas. Before a single drop of paint hit the walls, we patched and repaired the drywall throughout the home. You can see the prep work in motion - furniture wrapped in plastic sheeting, drop cloths laid across every floor, painter's tape running tight along the trim lines. It's not glamorous, but that groundwork is what separates a clean finish from one that looks rushed.
Once the walls were smooth and the surfaces were properly prepped, we got to work with the color. A consistent cool gray runs throughout the home - walls, ceilings, and trim all dialed in together. The hallway went from a patched-up mess to a sharp, finished corridor. The bedrooms feel calm and pulled-together. Even the bathroom got the same attention, with color carried right up to the ceiling for a cohesive look.
The trim work is where a lot of painters cut corners. We don't. Clean white baseboards and door casings against the gray walls - that contrast is what gives the whole space that sharp, finished feel. When every room flows into the next with the same level of care, the home just feels different. Tighter. More intentional.
That's what good interior painting actually does. It's not just color on a wall - it's the prep, the patching, the precision on the edges, and the consistency from room to room. When it all comes together, the result speaks for itself.
